Speaking Topics
Each speech I deliver is unique and catered to the audience that I am presenting to. While this is a list of the topics that I commonly speak about, each speech is tailored to every event. I love to work with my clients and make a speech that best fits their event, so let’s chat!
Educational: Bringing the Energy (and the Electricity)
Turning on the light switch when you get home at the end of the day might seem like a pretty straightforward thing - but it takes a lot to make that simple action possible. By the end of this speech, you will know how electricity is generated and more importantly, why you should care about it. Grace will share her passion for the energy field, and provide education on what you need to know for Electricity & Energy 101.
Empowerment: The Impact of You
Each and every person has a unique role on this planet - feel empowered and confident to share your story and take your place here. Learn how sometimes things don’t have to be cinematic-worth storytelling, but others are. By the end of this speech, audience members will feel empowered to share their story. Grace will share how she got into nuclear engineering and how advocating for nuclear energy has taught her the importance of not fitting into the expected mold, but rather being ready to approach every interaction wholeheartedly as herself.
Motivational: The Two Most Powerful Words in the English Language
Two little words: Yes, and No. Those two words have the ability to change everything in our lives when we hear them. Learn how mastering the skill of telling yourself yes or no will help you overcome fear and find comfort in the midst of massive change. Hear about the most impactful times that these two words have changed Grace’s life, when her dad faced cancer, and when she became Miss America 2023.

As my second TEDx talk, I knew I wanted this one to be different from my first. I wanted to explore why the need for energy growth was so relevant in today’s society; but make it memorable. At TEDxGarmercy Park, I highlighted all of the ways in which energy plays a role in our life and will continue to grow moving forward, and then bridged into the role that nuclear energy plays in energy expansion.

In conjunction with Nuclear for Australia, I spent 10 days in Australia touring various major cities, speaking to thousands of Australians. In Australia, I made the case for lifting the ban on nuclear energy in Australia. I was joined by various Australian nuclear professionals on this tour, allowing for not only further reach, but valuable learning experiences and conversations.
I was over the moon thrilled to be invited to give a TEDx talk at Wake Forest University. I tackled the topic that I spend most time talking about: nuclear energy and it’s misconceptions. I walked through how I became a nuclear engineer, and the seven major things that convinced me to become such a passionate advocate for a misunderstood industry.
